How to Replace Brake Pads on a 2020 Ford F-150 with PhoenixElite/Smart/Max



1. Connect the Phoenix Elite device to your vehicle and tap [Auto Scan] to read and decode the VIN.

2. Tap [SCAN]. Set the ignition switch to the ON position as prompted.
3. From the System Topology screen, tap [Common Function].
4. Select [EPB (Electronic Parking Brake)] and tap [Maintenance Mode (Rear Brake Pads Replacement)] to enter Maintenance mode.
5. Wait for the brake calipers to retract. Then, replace the brake pads. After replacement, tap  to exit Maintenance mode.
6. Select [Apply And Release Test] to perform the Apply and Release Test of the brake cylinder. When thedevice prompts "[Function Completed]" the brake pads are successfully replaced and matched.

Note:
Before performing the above procedure, ensure that the ignition is in the ON position, the handbrake isreleased,and the brake pedal is not pressed.
